<p>Although the area is situated in Shibuya ward, Hiroo is just west and almost a part of the Azabu area. The area has been popular for its&#8217; clean charming neighborhoods with tree lined streets, and many western-style apartments. The area directly around Hiroo station is convenient for shopping with National Azabu Supermarket as well several smaller shopping streets, which have a nice selection boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and bars- yet it is very quiet after the last train around midnight.</p>
<p>How about Ebisu area?</p>
<p>Ebisu</p>
<p>Near the end of the 19th century the city that is now very well known as Ebisu was actually a quiet town called Mitamura. In a county that has really developed a taste for beer, it was a brewery that put Ebisu on the map. The name &#8220;Ebisu&#8221; originated from &#8220;Yebisu&#8221; -one of Japanese most popular brands of beer. Yebisu was originally a part of the Sapporo Beer Company but definitively made a name for its&#8217; self soon after establishing its&#8217; brewery in Mitamura (now Ebisu) in 1889. The town grew with the popularity of its beer, and soon after, the company built Ebisu Station to facilitate the distribution of moss quantities of beer. Consequently, it was the beer that gave the station, and then later the town of Ebisu, its name, and not the other way around. The beer brewery was moved to Chiba in 1988, and the original site and surrounding area were transformed into Yebisu Garden Place which opened as an attraction to the public in October of 1994.</p>

Akasaka Tameike Tower has achieved an outstanding earthquake-resistance performance by combining CFT columns and two types of shaking control.<br />
CFT pillars are hybrid pillars made by filling steel-pipe pillars with concrete.<br />
The combination of the advantages of compression-resistant concrete and a tension-resistant steel frame has created this highly durable and highly rigid structural material that is excellent for its resistance to deformation.<br />
For shaking control, unbound brace dampers and viscoelastic brace dampers are incorporated into the walls themselves to absorb quake energy.<br />
